Zoya FeiFei

Here we have the lovely Zoya FeiFei from Divas and Designers! This is... how to describe it? Blue shimmer base with lots of different colour shimmer accents? Yes, let's go with that. Anyhoodle, this colour is wonderful! Zoya has really been winning my heart lately with their colours.

Love it!

Nail Polish Canada Contest!

So I JUST heard about this contest like 20 minutes ago, this might not be as well-planned as I hoped. But here we go, my snow theme nail art!

The base is OPI Happy Anniversary. The light blue is Julep Jessica, and the dark blue is Konad Blue. I used a BundleMonster plate for the snowflakes.
I should note I was pretty lucky I decided to do a snowflake design! We had a light snowfall this morning, so I was inspired!

I am doing this at my boyfriend's house, so I don't have any of my fonts :(

Good luck to everyone!

OPI Designer Series Mystery

Presented without comment: OPI Designer Series Mystery.

Just kidding! I'll talk about it after the pictures :)

Holy crud I love this. I looooove funky purples. This is spectacular! It's a deep purple base with gold flake accents. Eeeeee!

This is part of OPI's Designer Series, which is a series of truly exceptional colours. And this is no exception! It's a little thick and little chunky due to the gold flakes, but oh my goodness is it wonderful!

*Sigh* I love purple!

China Glaze Midtown Magic + BundleMonster 315

Oooooo a pretty brown!

I always feel a nice brown is hard to find. There is a fine line between "sexy chocolate" and "poop". Sometimes the line is very hard to find, indeed. But not today! Today I have China Glaze Midtown Magic from their Metro Collection. Shimmery dark brown! Lit from within! Gold highlights! What's not to love?

Recently, I had gotten the BundleMonster 2012 plates, and oh boy are they fun! There are some really interesting designs (although I must point out the 'full nail' designs are lies. Damn lies! My thumb is too big. And they juuuust fit on my regular nails if they're not too long. Boo-urns!). So my adaption has been to do a "French tip" but with the design in the tip. I found a nice flowery one from #315. I'd like to think I pull it off...

It's amazing what you can do with French tip stickers. Did you know, I've never had an actual French manicure? I'm trying to think of what possible situation would exist (nominated for Oscar/Grammy/Emmy/Tony/Raspberry? Meeting the Queen? My wedding? Alien encounter? My murder trial?) and I simply cannot fathom when I would feel a French manicure would be appropriate...

A England Bridal Veil + Deborah Lippmann Happy Birthday

Sorry for the wait! Family stuff, ya know :)

Anyhoodle, I did prepare something sparkly and eye-catching to make up for it: A England Bridal Veil from their Legends collection. It's a black holo! SO SPARKLY.

Oh, A England. You have had my heart since that first order of Avalon many moons ago... Perfect formula, lovely application, wondrous colours!

Now, I was technically wearing this manicure to a children's birthday party. Sparkly as it may be, it was also black. It needed a little more PIZAZZ (capitalization mandatory). Do you know what has PIZAZZ? Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday! Do you know what's really easy but really impressive? Glitter gradients! Two guesses what I did!

Ahhhhh! Rainbow glitter gradient!! Now it's appropriate for a six-year old's birthday party, right? Right???
